Illhof is a Franconian village in the northern Albrand region .

geography

The village is one of 17 parts of the municipality Eckental in the northeastern part of Middle Franconia . It is located about five kilometers east-northeast of the center of Eckental and is at an altitude of 403 m above sea level. NHN .

history

Like most of the villages in the area, Illhof was founded between 1050 and 1150. Around 1500 the place was Catholic as part of the Upper Palatinate , it belonged to the ruling district of Rothenberg.
