After the poplars of the coat of arms were received for reasons of age, a new coat of arms was commissioned and donated by Arthur Rühmann, a resident of the village, on February 26, 1966.

It shows a background of red and gold, as a reference to the colors of the bishopric and the city of Hildesheim . In the shield head of the coat of arms are three red iron hats , the middle shows a crook as a reference to the secular and clerical rulers from Hildesheim, the scythe leaves flank the coat of arms as a reference to an agricultural place.
