The men's saber fencing competition at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin took place from August 14th to 15th in the dome hall and in front of the House of German Sports in the German Sports Forum .

Each nation was allowed to nominate up to three fencers. The Olympic champion was Endre Kabos from Hungary. The Italian Gustavo Marzi won silver and bronze, Aladár Gerevich, was also won by a Hungarian.
