The competition of the men in saber fencing at the 2012 Olympics in London took place on 29 July 2012 at the Exhibition Center London instead. The Hungarian Áron Szilágyi became Olympic champion for the first time. Silver went to Diego Occhiuzzi (Italy) ahead of Nikolai Kowaljow from Russia, who won the bronze medal.
