Tunisia took part in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo with a delegation of nine male athletes in nine competitions in three sports.
The Tunisian athletes each won a silver and a bronze medal. The athlete Mohamed Gammoudi secured silver over 10,000 meters, while the welterweight boxer Habib Galhia won bronze .
