Malaysia took part in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Montreal with a delegation of 61 athletes (57 men and 4 women) in 48 competitions in ten sports. None of the athletes managed to win a medal. The athlete Kuda Ditta was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony.
