The Philippines participated in the Tokyo Summer Olympics in 1964 with a delegation of 47 athletes (40 men and 7 women) in 45 competitions in ten sports.

Boxer Anthony Villanueva managed to win the only medal in featherweight by winning silver. The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the boxer Manfredo Alipala .
