Malaysia took part inthe 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the twelfth participation in the Summer Olympics. Atotal of 30 athletes in eight sports were nominatedby the Olympic Council of Malaysia .

The high diver Pandelela Rinong Pamg carried the flag of Malaysia during the opening ceremony .
