Bahrain took part inthe 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the eighth total participation in the Summer Olympics. The Bahraini Olympic Committee nominated twelve athletes in three sports.

The standard bearer at the opening ceremony was the marksman Azza Alqasmi .
