Estonia took part inthe 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the eleventh participation in the Summer Olympics. The Estonian Olympic Committee nominated 33 athletes in eleven sports. The initially nominated tennis player Kaia Kanepi had to give up her participation due to an injury.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Aleksander Tammert .
