Jamaica took part inthe 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the 15th participation in the Summer Olympics. The Jamaica Olympic Association has so far nominated 50 athletes in four sports.

Medals

With four won gold, five silver and three bronze medals, the Jamaican team finished 18th in the medals table .

Note: On February 1, 2017 it was announced that the women's 4 x 400 meter relay from Russia would lose the silver medal. Runner Antonina Vladimirovna Kriwoschapka tested positive for an anabolic steroid in follow-up tests. As a result, Jamaica moves up to 2nd place.
