Guinea-Bissau took part inthe 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the fifth overall participation in the Summer Olympics. The Comité Olímpico da Guiné-Bissau nominated four athletes in two sports.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the wrestler Augusto Midana .
