Equatorial Guinea took part inthe 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the eighth total participation in the Summer Olympics. The Comité National Olympique Equato-Guinéen nominated two athletes in one sport.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Bibiana Olama .
