The Democratic Republic of the Congo took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the ninth participation in the Summer Olympics. The Comité Olympique Congolais nominated four athletes in three sports.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Zatara Ilunga .
