ZIM
Zimbabwe took part inthe 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the ninth participation in the Summer Olympics. The Zimbabwe Olympic Committee nominated eight athletes in four sports. Ngonidzashe Makusha was also nominated but had to cancel his participation due to injury.
The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the swimmer Kirsty Coventry .
