Equatorial Guinea participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics in the Greek capital Athens with two athletes, a woman and a man.

Since 1984 it was the sixth participation of a team from Equatorial Guinea in the Summer Olympics .

Flag bearer

The athlete Emilia Mikue Ondo carried the flag of Equatorial Guinea during the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium .
