Armenia took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics in the Greek capital Athens with 18 athletes, 2 women and 16 men.

Since 1996 , it was Armenia's third participation in the Summer Olympics .

Flag bearer

The gymnast Albert Azaryan carried the flag of Armenia during the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium .
