Guinea-Bissau took part in the 2000 Summer Olympics in the Australian metropolis of Sydney with a delegation of three athletes who competed in three sports competitions.

For the African country it was the second participation in the Summer Olympic Games after 1996 . The youngest participant was the 21-year-old athlete Fernando Arlete .
