The Lebanon participated in the Summer Olympics in 2000 in the Australian city of Sydney with five athletes, two women and three men in three sports part.

Since 1948 it was the thirteenth participation of the Asian state in the Summer Olympics .

Flag bearer

The athlete Jean-Claude Rabbath carried the flag of Lebanon during the opening ceremony at Stadium Australia .
