Libya took part in the 2000 Summer Olympics in the Australian metropolis of Sydney with three athletes.
It was the seventh time Libya had taken part in the Summer Olympics since 1964 .
Flag bearer
Taekwondo athlete Nizar Mohamed Naeeli carried the flag of Libya during the opening ceremony at Stadium Australia .
