Lesotho took part in the 2000 Summer Olympics in the Australian metropolis of Sydney with six athletes, two women and four men.

It was the seventh time Lesotho had taken part in the Summer Olympics since 1972 .

Flag bearer

The Taekwondoin Mokete Mokhosi carried the Lesotho flag during the opening ceremony at Stadium Australia .
