The men's epee fencing competition at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro took place on August 9, 2016 in the Arena Carioca 3 . The South Korean Park Sang-young became Olympic champion. Silver went to Géza Imre (Hungary) ahead of Gauthier Grumier from France, who won the bronze medal.
