Ona is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hardee County in the US state of Florida with 314 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Ona is about 10 km southwest of Wauchula and about 90 km southeast of Tampa . The CDP is crossed by Florida State Road 64 .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 314 inhabitants were distributed over 67 households. The population density was 4.5 inh / km². 61.8% of the population identified themselves as white and 14.6% as African American . 20.4% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.9% to several ethnic groups. 36.3% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
