Orange is the capital and seat of the county seat of Orange County in the US state of Texas in the United States .

The city on US Highway 90 , at the confluence of the Sabine River with the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in southeast Texas, near the Louisiana border , is approximately 40 km from the Gulf of Mexico in the south and has a total area of ​​53.8 km², of which 1.8 km² of water is.
