The Uster Organ Festival takes place annually in the Reformed Church in Uster / ZH .

History and spectrum

The Uster Organ Festival was founded in 1991 by the organist of the Reformed Church Uster Stefan Schättin. It is a series of concerts in which nationally and internationally active organists give five concerts in the Reformed Church of Uster in August and September, alone or in chamber music formations . The instrument, built in 1963 by Orgelbau Goll (Lucerne), is played. The Schleiferladen organ has 61 stops on three manual works and a pedal.

In addition to the classic solo recital, the program of recent years includes what is obvious or unusual to play on the organ: jazz on the church organ, organ and light show or organ four-handed . Since 2000, chamber music formations and individual instruments have been heard in conjunction with the organ in addition to the organ. B.
