Oseč (German Wossetsch ) is a district of the municipality Obecnice in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northwest of the city center of Příbram and belongs to the Okres Příbram .

geography

Oseč is located east of the Brdy military training area in the Příbramská pahorkatina ( Příbram hill country ). The village lies on the right side above the valley of the stream Obecnický potok or Čepkovský potok. The Kovohutě Příbram area is just under two kilometers to the east. To the north rises the V Dubkově (547 m nm), in the northeast the Čihadlo (511 m nm), east the Dubová hora (627 m nm), in the southeast the Malá Dubová hora (570 m nm), southwest the Malá Třemošná (701 m) m nm) and the Třemošná (779 m nm) as well as to the west the Klobouček (703 m nm) and the Tok (865 m nm).

Neighboring towns are Malý Drahlín, Drahlín and Šachta in the north, Lhota u Příbramě in the northeast, Nové Podlesí in the east, Staré Podlesí and Drmlovo Pole in the southeast, Orlov in the south, Skelná Huť in the southwest, Pod Třemošnou in the west and Borek and Obecnice in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of the village Ossecz ad Przibram took place in 1216. At that time, the Prague bishop Andreas von Guttenstein acquired the village together with the town of Příbram from the monastery of Tepl and built the episcopal estate of Příbram. In 1379 the village was listed again as part of the Příbram estate. During the Hussite Wars , Oseč came to secular owners. In 1480 the Osek squire bought the village of Ossietz from Jan von Miličín. In 1584 the mining town of Příbram bought the village of Oseč together with Kozičín, Brod, Zdaboř, Orlov, Žežice and Lazec for 900 shock from the Royal Chamber . In 1653 the village was called Wosetz . From 1714 Wosetz belonged to the newly formed Berauner Kreis .

In 1846 Wosetsch or Woseč or Oseč consisted of 31 houses with 221 inhabitants. There was an inn in the village. The village was parish to the Dechanteikirche of St. James in Přibram. Until the middle of the 19th century, Wosetsch remained subject to the royal silver mining town of Přibram as part of the Příbram villages.

After the abolition of patrimonial Oseč / Wossetsch formed a district of the municipality Dušníky in the judicial district of Příbram from 1850 . From 1868 the village belonged to the Příbram district . In the 1870s, Oseč was reassigned to Německá Lhota . A decade later, Oseč became independent. In 1930, the Czechoslovak state acquired the forests on the Brdy west of Oseč from Prince Colloredo-Mannsfeld as part of the construction of the Brdy artillery firing range . On January 1, 1976, it was incorporated into Obecnice. In 1991 Oseč had 70 inhabitants; at the 2001 census, 86 people lived in the 50 houses.

The district of Oseč forms a cadastral district. The one- shift Pod Třemošnou belongs to Oseč .
