Osterberg (Albisheim)

The Osterberg nature reserve is located in the area of the local community Albisheim (Pfrimm) in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 8 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1986 , extends north of the core town of Albisheim and southeast of the core town of Stetten . The L 386 state road runs north of the area, the L 447 to the southwest and the B 47 to the south . The Kleppermühlbach flows to the west .
Protection purpose
The protection purpose is the preservation of the southwest exposed limestone slope of the Osterberg as a location for rare plant species and plant communities , as a habitat for rare animal species and for scientific reasons.
