The Pabellón Príncipe Felipe is a multi-purpose hall in the southeast of the Spanish city of Zaragoza , Autonomous Community of Aragon . The sports facility hosts, among other things, the home games of the Casademont Saragossa basketball club . The handball club BM Aragón used the arena until it was dissolved. The hall offers 10,744 seats.
The arena was opened on April 17, 1990 and is named Pabellón Príncipe Felipe , in honor of the then Spanish Crown Prince and today's King Felipe VI. In addition to sports, the hall is also used for concerts and various other events and shows.
Location and public transport
The Pabellón Príncipe Felipe is located in the southeast of the city on Avenida Cesáreo Alierta . The Miraflores des Cercanías Zaragoza station is located near the hall . Bus lines 24, 25, 38, 44, 51 and 52 also stop at the arena.
