Pablo-Miguel Konrad y Ruopp (* 1991 in Santa Cruz de La Palma , La Palma ) is a German actor .

Life

Pablo Konrad was born in the Canary Islands and grew up near Lake Constance . As an actor he was already active in school and youth theater. In 2008 he played three main roles at the Ravensburger Rutentheater in the play Ali Baba and the 41 robbers , the robber chief Aldente.

In 2010 and 2011 he took part in several productions of the theater project “Junge Burg” of the Vienna Burgtheater as part of his student year . In the 2010/11 season he appeared at the Vienna Akademietheater as a young lover Joachim von Rencken in Rasmus, Pontus and the Sword Swallower (based on motifs by Astrid Lindgren ; director: Annette Raffalt ); his partners were u. a. Jonas Laux , Sven Dolinski , Marcus Bluhm , Hans Dieter Knebel , Jana Horst , Therese Affolter and Juergen Maurer . In the 2010/11 season he also played Tristan in 17 sold-out performances of the play tricky love / tristan und isolde (director: Peter Raffalt ) in the vestibule of the Burgtheater . He was also on stage for the castle portraits by Michael Laub and Tom Stromberg for the “Junge Burg”.

From 2011 to 2015 he studied acting at the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg , where he also graduated in 2015. During his training he already appeared several times at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg , a. a. as Pechorin in A Hero of Our Time by Michail Lermontow (2014; director: Johannes Ender , Malersaal) and as an officer in Everything Else you know from the cinema by Martin Crimp (2014-2016; director: Katie Mitchell).

In October 2013 he played two performances of Storms Der Schimmelreiter at the St. Pauli Theater as part of the director and theater festival “Kiezstürmer 2013”. He also appeared in Johannes Ender's Peer Gynt production at Kampnagel in January 2014 . In 2014 he played the adolescent lover Ferdinand in Shakespeare's late work Der Sturm at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg in a production by Maja Kleczewska.

In the 2014/15 season he made guest appearances with the ensemble of Alles Weiter Sie aus dem Kino at the Stadsschouwburg Theater in Amsterdam and in the 2015/16 season at the Schauspielhaus Zürich . In the 2017/18 season he made his first guest appearance at the Theater an der Ruhr . In May 2018, alongside Mario Neumann and Sascha Tschorn , he made his debut at the Theater im Bauturm in Cologne in a stage version of the Bulgakow story Das Hundische Herz , in a production in which he will also appear again in the 2018/19 season.

Pablo Konrad also acted in several film and television roles. In the third season of the Swabian TV series Die Kirche remains im Dorf (2015) he had a continuous supporting role as Helmut. In February 2017 he was seen in a leading role in the ZDF series SOKO Stuttgart ; He played the former drug addict Florian Hoss, who turns into a cocaine smuggler to help his girlfriend . In the 5th season of the ZDF crime series Ein Fall für Zwei (first broadcast from October 2018) Konrad had a supporting role as a waiter in a Frankfurt apple tavern . In 2020 he was seen in several episodes of the TV series Everything that counts in a double role as a building authority employee and party blogger.

Pablo Konrad has lived in Cologne since the end of 2016 .
