Pacific Heights is an affluent neighborhood in San Francisco . With panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge , San Francisco Bay , Alcatraz and the Presidio , it offers one of the best residential areas in the city. It is mainly inhabited by young urban professionals and wealthy residents. Most of the boutiques and restaurants are on Fillmore Street .
Geographical location
The neighborhood is between Presidio Avenue and Van Ness Avenue, and between California Street and Broadway . Adjacent neighborhoods are Lower Pacific Heights to the south, Japantown and Polk Gulch to the east, Presidio Heights to the west, and Cow Hollow and Marina District to the north.
