Pan American Games 2007 / Diving
At the 2007 Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil , a total of eight water diving competitions were held from July 25 to 28, 2007 , one individual and one synchronized jumping from the 3-meter board and 10-meter tower for women and men .
The most successful participant among the women was Paola Espinosa , who could win three gold and one silver medal. The men's competitions were more balanced, with Alexandre Despatie winning the art jumping, José Antonio Guerra diving high diving and the American duo winning both the dubbing competitions. In total, athletes from six countries were able to win medals.

A total of 48 divers took part in the diving competitions, 23 women and 25 men. Seven different nations were represented.
