The women's marathon at the 2011 Pan American Games took place in Guadalajara on October 23 .

20 athletes from 14 countries took part in the competition. Adriana Aparecida da Silva won the gold medal after 2:36:37 h, which was also a new record for the Pan American Games. Silver went to Madaí Pérez with 3:38:03 h and Gladys Tejeda secured the bronze medal with 2:42:09 h.
