General election in Ghana 1969

The 1969 parliamentary elections in Ghana were held on August 29th. Estimates put the number of voters at around 2,360,000. A total of 140 seats were awarded in these elections. The winner of this election was the Progress Party of the later Prime Minister Kofi Abrefa Busia .
