Presidential election in Ghana 1996
The 1992 presidential elections in Ghana were held on December 7th. Parliamentary elections were held at the same time.
Three candidates ran:
- Jerry John Rawlings ( National Democratic Congress )
- John Agyekum Kufuor , ( New Patriotic Party ) ( Grand Alliance )
- Edward Mahama , ( People's National Convention )
