Patrick Imhof

Patrick Imhof (born March 11, 1971 in Basel ) is a German-Swiss actor and musical artist .

Life

First, Patrick Imhof successfully studied double bass at the Music Academy of the City of Basel from 1992 to 1996 , then from 1996 to 2000 he trained as an actor at the Leipzig University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" . From 1998 to 2005 Imhof had an engagement at the Schauspiel Leipzig and played under directors such as Wolfgang Engel , Karin Henkel , Jorinde Dröse , Johanna Schall and Enrico Lübbe . Imhof has been working as a freelancer ever since, playing the role of Njegus in Franz Lehár's operettaThe merry widow first at the Leipzig Opera House , lateron stageat the Dresden Semperoper for several years.

In 2009 Imhof appeared for the first time as a musical performer in the Swiss compilation musical Ewigi Liebi . To this day he has mostly appeared in musicals. In 2011 Imhof was part of the cast of the world premiere of the musical Gotthelf - The Musical at the Thunerseespiele , as well as Paulie Pennino in Rocky in the Hamburg Operettenhaus in 2012 . In Stuttgart in 2014 he was in Mamma Mia! on the stage of the Palladium Theater , also in 2014 Imhof played in the Theater an der Elbe in the world premiere of The Miracle of Bern . In 2016 he took on the role of Clayton in the Tarzan premiere cast at the Oberhausen Metronom Theater .

Occasionally Imhof also works in front of the camera and was seen in various episodes of the crime series SOKO Leipzig . He also takes part in radio plays and reads audio books.
