Patrick Klöpper (born March 12, 1994 in Duisburg ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Kassel Huskies in the DEL2 since November 2019 .

Career

Patrick Klöpper began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of the Krefelder EV , for which he was active in the school league from 2007 to 2009. Since then, he has been playing for its junior team in the German Junior League. In the 2011/12 season he also ran for the first time in the senior division for the Krefeld second team in the third-class ice hockey league . For the 2012/13 season , the center made its debut for the professional team of the Krefeld Penguins in the German Ice Hockey League .

In the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons he was active in the DEL2 jersey of REV Bremerhaven and returned to Krefeld for the 2016/17 season. However, he was subsequently used exclusively at EV Duisburg from the ice hockey league and moved there permanently in October of the same year. In the 2017/18 season he played for the Kassel Huskies in the DEL2 , then for about 1.5 years at the ETC Crimmitschau , also in the DEL2. He returned to the Huskies in November 2019.

International

For Germany , Klöpper took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2012 .
