Paul Falk (born December 17, 1996 in Stuttgart - Bad Cannstatt ) is a German musician , actor , musical actor and voice actor .

life and career

Paul Falk is the younger son of the music producer Dieter Falk . In April 2015 he graduated from the Annette-von-Droste-Hülshoff-Gymnasium in the Benrath district of Düsseldorf .

Falk has been musically active since he was eight years old. He sang title roles in various children's musicals and began writing his first songs on the piano at the age of nine. From 2010 to 2012 he was the narrator in the pop oratorio “ The 10 Commandments ” by Dieter Falk and Michael Kunze , for which he also wrote the melody of a song. Paul Falk sang and played the role of Emperor Karl in the pop oratorio " Luther ", which premiered on Reformation Day 2015 in Dortmund's Westfalenhalle . He also wrote the music for two songs for “Luther”.

Paul Falk also worked as a voice actor . In the movie " The Little King Macius - The Film " (2007) he lent his voice to the character of the little King Macius, replacing the originally planned speaker at short notice. He was nominated for the German Synchronous Award 2008 for his role in the “Outstanding Young Talent” category. He also dubbed the character in the second season of the KI.KA television series of the same name , which was broadcast from October 7, 2007. His voice has also been the “control voice” of the musical “ Starlight Express ” in Bochum for several years .

Paul Falk is a member of the family band " Falk & Sons ", which consists of his father Dieter Falk and his older brother Max Falk; Paul Falk is active there as a keyboard player and singer. With “Falk & Sons” Paul Falk has had over 120 TV appearances and concerts at home and abroad. Since 2011 he has been on tour regularly with “Falk & Sons”. The first album "Celebrate Bach" was released in November 2011 by Universal .

Falk's solo career began in 2015 with the high school song "8 long years" composed by himself, which became a great success on YouTube . In July 2017 his debut album "1000 songs" was released. In 2018 he goes on tour with the album.

In addition, Paul Falk played in various television series and productions. Since 2006 Falk has been receiving private acting lessons from his mentor Bernd Capitain in Cologne . He also attended acting masterclasses in New York City and Los Angeles . In the psychological thriller Kleine Morde from 2012, Falk played his first leading role alongside Uwe Ochsenknecht and Ann-Kathrin Kramer as Martin Brinkhoff, son of a judge.

In January 2015, he was in an episode lead role in the television series The Teacher . He played the “problem youth” Fabian, who flees home after an argument with his father who wants to send him to boarding school. In the ZDF series Heartbreaker - Father of Four Sons he has been seen in a supporting role since 2014. He plays Julius, the friend of the gay pastor's son "Tom" Tabarius ( Lukas Karlsch ). In the 21st season of the ARD television series In All Friendship (2018) he had an episode role as a musician; he played the singer and front man of a band.

Paul Falk currently lives (as of July 2017) in Düsseldorf .
