Paul Rosenhayn

Paul Rosenhayn (born December 11, 1877 in Hamburg , † September 11, 1929 in Berlin ) was a German writer and screenwriter .

Life

Rosenhayn was the son of a captain . He attended schools in England and Germany and studied then some semesters Jura . Rosenhayn traveled extensively in Europe and America and stayed in India for several years . He worked for British and later German newspapers . During the First World War he began to publish detective novels , especially those about the American detective"Joe Jenkins" had great success. At the same time, Rosenhayn wrote a large number of screenplays for feature films , mostly from the detective film genre .
