Peter Pawlett (born February 3, 1991 in Kingston upon Hull ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Dundee United .

Career

Peter Pawlett, who was born in Kingston upon Hull, England, came to Scotland with his parents at the age of seven. He grew up in Banchory , about 25 km west of Aberdeen . At the age of ten he began playing in the youth team of Aberdeen FC . For the Dons he made his professional debut in the round of 16 of the Scottish Cup against FC East Fife in February 2009 . Two months later, Pawlett also made his first division debut against Celtic Glasgow . The 18-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Dons in November 2009. In August 2012, Pawlett was loaned out to St. Johnstone FC for one season to gain match practice. After his return to Aberdeen, Pawlett was a regular and was able to win the Scottish League Cup 2013/14 in the final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle with his club . With the Dons , he was also Scottish runner-up behind Celtic in 2015 , 2016 and 2017 .

National team

Peter Pawlett played once in 2009 in the Scottish U-19 against Germany in Paderborn . In 2011 and 2012, Pawlett was used seven times in the U-21 . He made his debut for this age group against Bulgaria in September 2011 when he came on for Scott Allan . He played his last game in September 2012 against Austria .
