Perwarth is a village in the market town of Randegg in Lower Austria.

The village is located in the valley of the Kleine Erlauf between Randegg and Wang .

history

The castle Perwarth was founded by the 1212 first mentioned sex of Perwarther, a branch line of the Zinzendorfer . After disputes with the Lords of Walsee , the castle was destroyed in 1410 and finally abandoned in 1549. About 100 meters below the castle, Christoph von Concin had a castle built between 1555 and 1561, today's castle ruins of Niederperwarth .
