Peter Koobs

Peter Koobs (* 1968 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German guitarist , producer and songwriter .

biography

He has worked for Rosenstolz , Pe Werner , Joachim Witt , Peter Maffay , Howard Carpendale , Chris Norman , NEA !, Patricia Kaas , Die 3. Generation , No Angels and Jeanette Biedermann , Matthias Reim , Truck Stop , Bernd Stelter , Ken Hensley , among others , Chris Thompson, Nicole , Danny Buller, Gerry Creighton & the Freelancers, Valentine, Giovanni Costello, Coshiva, Barbara Schöneberger , Harold Faltermeyer , Aura Dione, Helen Schneider ,hunds (Lighthouse Family) as well as Helene Fischer and Michael Bolton .

In 1995 he took part in the Hamburg Pop Course as a guitarist . In 2003 he won the final of the Europe-wide Emergenza Song Contest in Paris as a songwriter with the English singer Emma Owens . In 2006 he was hired by Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor as guitarist for the musical " We will rock you " in Zurich. In 2007 he toured England and Scotland for the National Theater of Scotland with the play "The Bacchae" (starring Alan Cumming ).

In 2008, Carolin Fortenbacher took part in the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the title “Hinterm Ozean” written by Peter Koobs and Pe Werner and came second in the final.

From 2014-2019 Peter Koobs for was Heinz Rudolf Kunze as a live and studio guitarist in his band gain operates. He is also named as co-author and producer for his album “Schöne Grüße vom Schicksal” , which was released in 2019 .
