Peter Salomon

Peter Salomon (born September 4, 1947 in Berlin ) is a German writer , literary historian and editor .

Life

Peter Salomon spent childhood and youth in Berlin . He studied law and literature in Berlin, Munich and Freiburg im Breisgau . Peter Salomon has lived in Constance since 1972 . From 1976 to 1999 he worked as a lawyer .

Act

Salomon has been publishing poems and essays in anthologies and literary magazines since 1969 . He was a co-founder and co-editor of the literary magazine UNIVERS (1974–1981). Since 1992 he has been editor of the series »Replik. Authors' portraits from beyond modernity «. Salomon is a member of the Association of German Writers and the PEN Center Germany . In 2014 the German Literature Archive in Marbach acquired his estate. Another part of his legacy is in the Franz Michael Felder archive of the Vorarlberg State Library in Bregenz.
