history

In 1993, Theo Breuer founded the small publishing house of the same name with the publication of the first edition of the artist magazine YE . YE (ji :) stands as an acronym for »Young Europe« (subject of this first art box based on Mail Art ) as well as the slang form of YOU, which is used in Irish English, and thus expresses the communicative character of the edition. In 1994 the first issue of the poetry magazine Foldblatt appeared . From 2002 to 2008 single titles, anthologies and monographs on the diverse world of poetry in the German-speaking area were published in the "Edition YE series of poetry". Occasional individual editions round off the program of Edition YE, which is dedicated to poetry and its distribution.

Artist magazine YE

From 1993 to 2008 the art box YE was published about once a year , in which original works by artists and writers from all over the world are gathered. The first issue of the poetry magazine Faltblatt was published as a folder in A3 size. From edition to edition, the magazine grew to a volume of 120 pages until the last leaflet N ° 9 , which was published in 2004 . Poetry circle

Since 2007, Edition YE has been inviting authors and editors to a (all-day) conversation about poetry under the motto The small Sistiger Lyrikkreis . Both current tendencies in contemporary poetry in the German-speaking area after 2000 are reflected on by means of remarkable new publications and unpublished poems are presented. The participants include Karl Otto Conrady , Manfred Enzensperger, Harald Gröhler, Matthias Hagedorn, Sibylle Klefinghaus , Axel Kutsch, Christoph Leisten, Swantje Lichtenstein , Shafiq Naz (editor of Der deutsche Lyrikkalender ), Andreas Noga, Markus Peters , Francisca Ricinski, Norbert Scheuer and AJ Weigoni .
