Peter Wolf (born June 14, 1992 in Bad Soden-Salmünster ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Indoor volleyball

Wolf began his career in his home country at TV Salmünster. He later played for the TG Hanau and TV 05 Waldgirmes . In 2011, the diagonal attacker moved to the second division VC Eintracht Mendig . A year later he went to TG 1862 Rüsselsheim . With the club, Wolf reached second place in the second division in 2014 and 2015 and, after climbing up in 2015 , played in the Bundesliga under the new name United Volleys Rhein-Main . With the Frankfurt team , he came third in the Bundesliga and in the semifinals of the DVV Cup in the 2015/16 season . In the following season , Wolf was again third with the team and reached the semi-finals in the European CEV Cup. In 2017, Wolf and his brother Georg joined the second division TV / DJK Hammelburg . On October 26, 2018, the brothers announced the immediate separation from TV / DJK Hammelburg via WhatsApp . In 2019/20 Peter Wolf was again in the United Volleys Bundesliga squad.

beach volleyball

Wolf played his first beach volleyball tournaments with Stephan Ottmann in 2008 and competed in various youth competitions. In 2009 and 2010 the duo reached second places in the German U18 and U20 championships. With Dominik Stork, Wolf took 13th place at the U18 European Championship in Espinho in 2009 . In 2011 he became German U20 champions with Ottmann in Berlin. He also completed various tournaments with changing partners and also competed on the Smart Beach Tour . Peter Wolf has been playing in a duo with his brother Georg Wolf since 2013 and is regularly present at the national tournament series. In 2015 and 2016, the brothers won several Category 1 tournaments. They also won the German University Championship 2016 in Bayreuth . At the Beach Cup in Dresden they took third place and defeated the favorite Holler / Poniewaz . They qualified for the German championship in Timmendorfer Strand , but had to admit defeat there in the first main round to the Olympians Böckermann / Flüggen . In 2017 and 2018 the brothers in Munich and Bayreuth were again German university champions. In 2018 they also played on the national Techniker Beach Tour and at the German championship . In 2019 the Wolf brothers together with Paul Becker and Jonas Schröder became German champions in snow volleyball . They became German university champions for the fourth time and took part in the Techniker Beach Tour and the German championship .
