Philip Schulz-Deyle

Philip Schulz-Deyle (born January 9, 1972 in Hamburg ) is a German film producer .

Life

Philip Schulz-Deyle went to a grammar school in Munich , which he left after a student exchange to the USA . From 1996 to 2000 he attended the University of Television and Film (HFF) in Munich, where he studied production and media management . In 1997 he founded Deyle & Schulz-Deyle Entertainment GbR (DSD) together with his brother Florian. During his studies he worked together with Florian Schwarz as a producer on the film Road to Palermo in which Martin Semmelrogge was seen as the actor. Since 1999 he has been working as a producer for Tele Norm Film GmbH. From 2002 to 2005 he worked with co-founder Dan Maag for Orange Pictures GmbH & Co. KG. of which he was the owner and manager. Since 2006 he has been managing director of Tele Norm Film GmbH (TNF), the Bavarian Film Center for TV productions and also working for Deyle and Richter film production .

Philip Schulz-Deyle's brother Florian is also a film producer and works closely with him, for example, they produced Armistice and A Very Hot Number .

Awards

In 2009 Philip Schulz-Deyle, together with Florian Deyle and Martin Richter, received the Bavarian Film Prize ( VGF Prize ) as the best young producer for the film Armistice , the award was presented to him on January 15, 2010 in the Prinzregententheater in Munich . This film was previously awarded the Audience Prize in Zurich, the Ecumenical Prize in Montréal and the German Film Prize in Hof.

2012 was a very hot number in the category "Film National" nominated for Best Comedy for the Bambi .

In 2016 he and Moritz Borman received the Bavarian Film Award for Snowden .
