The Pirate Party was a political party in Denmark . It was modeled after the Swedish Piratpartiet founded and sees itself as part of the international movement of Pirate Parties .

The party was officially registered by the Danish electoral authority on September 28, 2009. On November 19, 2013 she took part for the first time in the election to the regional council of the Hovedstaden region and achieved 0.3% of the vote.

It broke up on February 18, 2017 at a general meeting on IRC .
