Piratim (Hebrew הפיראטים), German Piratenpartei Israel (code letter פ , Hebrew הפיראטים מפלגת, also Pirate Party Israel) is a political party in Israel . It sees itself as part of the international movement of pirate parties . It was officially registered in July 2012.

The party leader is Ohad Shem-Tov , former chairman of the Green Leaf party . Party spokesman is Noam Kuzar . Well-known founding members are Dan Biron , Rafram Haddad , Sharon Kantor and Lidia Maletin . The party has around 110 members (as of 2013). In the election for the Israeli parliament Knesset on January 22, 2013 , the party received 0.05% of the vote. In the 2015 election it reached 0.02%.

In addition to the Pirate Party Israel, there are several other groups in Israel that call themselves the Pirate Party. Among other things, The Israeli Pirates Party . One of the aims of the group was to win citizens who had been politicized by the protests in 2011 as voters. The group has about 100 members.
