Plößhöfe is a district of the municipality of Tiefenbach in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham in Bavaria .
Geographical location
Plößhöfe denotes about 7 buildings that are scattered on the plateau north of the connecting road from Irlach to Stein .
history
The Plößhöfe were founded in 1826. Their owners previously lived in Irlach, but because of the many fires that plagued Irlach, they moved out and settled about 1 km east of Irlach. Plößhöfe belonged to the rural community of Irlach. In 1845 Plößhöfe was recorded with three houses and 19 inhabitants. As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Plößhöfe was listed as part of the Tiefenbach parish with five houses and 21 residents. Approximately in the middle of the scattered settlement Plößhöfe is a path chapel built in 1928, a gable-free and hipped gable roof building with ridge turrets.
