Grubhof is a district of the municipality of Tiefenbach in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham , Bavaria .

Geographical location

The hamlet of Grubhof is located on the western bank of the Bavarian Schwarzach, 1 km south of the Silbersee. About 1 km north of Stein, a narrow road branches off from State Road 2400 to the east in the direction of Silbersee and Witzelsmühle . After about 1.5 km, before the bridge over the Bavarian Schwarzach, a path leads south to Grubhof.

history

There was a mill in Grubhof until the 1950s . At the beginning of the 20th century, increasingly higher demands were made on the flour quality , which the small mills could no longer meet and gradually sold their milling rights to the large milling companies. On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Grubhof was listed as part of the exposed Hiltersried cooperative of the Schönthal parish with three houses and 22 inhabitants.

As part of the regional reform , Grubhof was assigned to the municipality of Tiefenbach on May 1, 1978 as part of the municipality of Katzelsried.

On December 31, 1990, Grubhof was part of the Hiltersried parish with 14 residents.
