Hüttensäge is an officially named part of the municipality of Tiefenbach in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The two buildings of the Einöde Hüttensäge are in the valley of the Hüttenbach south of Stadlern. The hut saw is counted from Stadlern, the seventh mill in the Hüttenbach valley (above: Stadlermühle , Tobacco Mill , Cäcilienmühle (ruins), Sägmühle , Andreasthal , Löwenthal ). The huts saw has belonged to the municipality of Tiefenbach since July 1, 1974.

Culture and sights

The old mill house (quarry stone building) and the mill drive duct are still preserved. The saw was inhabited until around 2005 and water power was used to generate electricity.
